Youtube account BS!

So I go to log into my youtube account, and I can't log in unless I sign up for google!

WTBFH

When did they start doing that?

Any reason I should sign up for google?

I've had a google account for ages, never had any issues with it, I use it for Email and google voice has its advantages (Free texting woo)

Haven't found a use for google wave yet though.

you should be able to bypass the Google and just sign in. I have FF to auto sign in maybe that's why I never get the Google message.

It just started doing it. It (youtube) kicked me out and said I had to create a google account to access my account.

Oh wait. I have a gmail account this is why youtube didn't ask me to sign up with google. Gmail is Google

It does have a lot of nice features, like Web History.

Yes, I know about the privacy concerns, but I figure I use Google's search engine so much, that they pretty much have my web life down legally or illegally. Might as well get some good out of it.

Yeah I hate it too. Google now wants to know your ip and your username when you use their search engine so that they can relate your searches to you DIRECTLY.

Google has grown too arrogant. I wouldn't be surprised if the company now is linked to CIA or intelligence agency.

Don't sweat it Niki, I have a Google account and can do things like change the default Google background screen, makes a vast improvement to stock!
