The game wont boot up all.

Hello. Hate to have this as a first introduction but I am having trouble with SH5 not running. I got the steam version on sale to play with some friends. All 4 of them have had no problems at all and told me to get it so we could have some MP fun. Well it didnt go quite that smooth.

I downloaded the game from steam and hit install and waited. Then I clicked play when it was done. Steam will bring up the install for the .Net framework then that goes away but the game does not start at all it just sits at my desktop with no error's or anything. Now I have reinstalled the .Net to 4.0 and tried it agan with no luck. My friends say that on there end steam says I am playing SH5 wich tells me SH5 seems to be attempting to start but instantly shuts down. I have been looking at the forums for 3 hrs now and have exausted just about all the serching i could do.

So if anyone could help me out on this or point im in a direction that would great. Thanks in advance!
