A fishy tale from the Med.

The Luftwaffe Acturally did something helpfull for once, the DD standing between me and the harbour had been BBQed. So Setting course, the U14 charged in sinking everything from tankers to pedalo’s. We were down to our last two eel’s, so we stoped for a tea break while the deck crew loaded the spares. Break over, we waved at the locals, bought some post cards and had a game of eye spy , the brits had hid a ship at the back, It did not seem right that it should be floating there as if there was not a war on or something, so I Shouted Extreame Speed Ahead! I Lined up the rust bucket in the UZO and was about to shout los, when.....A message flashed up saying the game was being saved. I shot my bolt and looking up from the UZO, the colour drained from my face and my underpants filled. BACK EMERGENCY....We we just managed to stop the boat hitting the harbour wall, What..what the FUuu..All hell broke out, we were under attack, we brought the boat down to periscope depth at record time, the boat was in a bad, bad state. I raised the Obs scope to see what had happened. During the save, The boat was moved about 50ft to the left, hence the harbour wall. Then Half the RN had spawned into the harbour. There must have been 20 DD,s plust the useral Merchants that were there before. It took me the best part of the day trying to break out of the harbour. I only had one eel left, but dare note use it as it might have stirred up a hornets nest.
