Hi Submariners,
inspired by Fred8615 and his outstanding Radio and Music Stations Thread here at Subsim.com i thought what else do we need to get SH4 a bit more realistic feeling? This is the result: Military Radio Communication! That's what we need to our Radio. The radio at Subs wasn't just for Music, it was also for Communication between COMSUBPAC and the Boats. So if you put the two folders in your SH4 "Data\Sound\Radio" folder, and copy and paste the Frequencies from the Read me into your radio.ini file you can hear the COMSUBPAC and the Imperial Japanese Forces Military Morse Key Communication. The Morse Code is realistic, the messages are purely fictional. But i think it's another little step for more realism in the game. So when you hear the radio messages at your Subs Radio, maybe you hear a Communication between two boats and or Comsubpac or just a Japanese Outpost requesting Sake and Toiletpaper, who knows? ;-) Download here: http://rapidshare.com/files/43628482...Morse_keys.rar Remember that stations !MUST! be in numerical order by frequency in your Radio.ini ! |

I downloaded earlier today and finally had a chance to check this out. Really nice job. The transmissions sound period correct and there is enough variability to make the transmissions sound unique. Great work!

any chance of a re-up on this one?
Linky is dead. It's deceased. It has passed on and has ceased to be. Linky has expired and has gone to meet its maker.
