Default Palau-Wewak shipping lanes 1943 in RSRD

TMO 2.0
RSRD

April 30, 1943-May 5, 1943

Busy, Busy shipping lanes.Ran into lone freighter around 2200 on April 30, 1943,which I sank in night surface attack. The next morning (May 1) found a convoy(sank all 3 ships first time after a down the throat shot destroyed the subchaser, but game froze, had to reboot.Found the convoy again, due to weather escort didnt spot me, so no reason attack escort, sank two ships, damage 3rd, would had the third but one of the two torpedos prematurely exploded, escort kept me down a while. Then over the next 4 days, ran into 4 different convoys, sinking multiple ships, wouldve had more if not for prematurely exploding and dud torpedos.Went back to Brisbane with almost 40k tons down.Fun patrol.

Busy shipping lane for sure as it was in RL from what i've read.

Yea, I recall several flash messages for that shipping lane in 43, also close enough for running to the flash messages for Truk/Rabual shipping lane. Overall a great time to hang out in the western portion of the Bismark to be in a position to attack both.
