Default Fa-223 Drache

So, I'm pulling out of Bergen, and since my last 3 patrols have started with B17 Raids, I immediately staffed the AA Guns. A 223 always flies over the pens as were leaving too. I never thought much of it other than "that's cool". I had always assumed it was german, especially since none of the other boats in port (Including the Hipper) lit it up.

Well this time, as soon as I set AA orders to "fire at will", my forward AA Gun smashed it to bits. So I went and did some research real quick, as I had thought, it is German.

So..... wtf? I get a rogue gunner? Why would he open up on the Drache when I've never had a gunner shoot down another friendly aircraft before?

This might require some research.

Q. Did you fire at the Drache manually before the fire at will command?

Nope, never even got into the guns....

They just opened up....

Maybe he just thought the new machines were such an abomination that he just had to shoot it down?

Bernard just happened to know that there is only one Fa-223 in Bergen, and it is piloted by a guy named Wilhelm.

I've had my gunners attack a Bf 109.

Thought it was an isolated incident...

Setting your gunners to "fire at will" means they'll light up anything larger than a seagull.

Do you know how long it took me to build the Drache?
And you just go and shoot it down all willy nilly and stuff.

You know...actually one of my first thoughts was: "Whom ever on the GWX designed that is gonna be pissed."

It'd be cool if they'd also hit seagulls.

But I always keep my gunners on FAW, and they've never shot down another friendly before. I'll have to try to this in another port to see if they do.

I'm not pissed.
I think it's funny it got shot down.

Being on our side?
I never really expected it.
Or at lest someone whacking it by mistake anyway.

Tell me about it. I'll be 147 meters under the surface and the stupid sea rats will still be circling my boat's position. I'm lucky no destroyers have noticed this yet.
