When realistic sensors are on , then the perfromance of your hydrophones your radar and your radar warning system are reduced to historical levels. That means it takes more time to detect a threat therefore less time to react to it.
Same goes when a target is spotted.

Aκριβώς. Αλλά η απόδοση του radar θα μειωθεί και η απόδοση του υδρόφωνου δεν έχει να κάνει μόνο με την ακτίνα αλλά και την διακριτηκότητα όσο αφορά το τι είδους ήχο ακούς. Εννοείται ότι τότε δεν υπήρχε Η/Υ που να αναγνωρίζει το είδος του πλοίου υπό ακρόαση. Μπορούσαν να καταλάβουν αν ήταν εμπορικό ή πολεμικό αλλά όχι και την εθνικότητα του.
Επίσης είνια προφανές ότι πρέπει να είσαι σε κατάδυση και με ελάχιστη ταχύτητα για να χρησιμοποιήσεις τα υδρόφωνα.
Δες την ταινία Υποβρύχιο Παπανικολής ή την "Das Boot" για να καταλάβεις.
