DW TDC Mod Issue

Guys,

Sorry to keep going at this. But I'm still having issues with this Mod.

I downloaded and put it in the right folder. Used the Jones mod software. There were 10 or 12 potential mods and I applied them all starting with the top one.

Seems to have worked ... but when I test it on a historical mission I cannot get the TDC working. The dials are all there and I click the light to green, input my options, and click to red. Then the dials all spin back to their original setting.

I no longer have the XO to "turn on TDC". His dialog shows up in the recognition manual (although there are no pictures of ships in the manual).

I have the watch officer "track" my target. And I have tried having the weps designate the target so I get the green arrow.

On one of my runs I did somehow get the XO up in the recognition guide with a "turn on TDC" dialog. Not sure how I did that though.

Any help would be great.

click cancel or never mind in the XO TDC dialog box to get back to the 'opening' screen where you can select to turn TDC on or off. You can also set the realism option for manual targeting system in the game's options to always have TDC on.
When you said the needles moved when you clicked the manual entry button back to red that means the TDC is NOT on.

Thanks. It looked to me that it was not on as well.

I'm not sure what the opening screen is that you are refering to. I have not been able to find anywhere where I can do the turn on for the TDC other than the xo dialog (and I forgot about the realism setting in the set up). is the opening screen the set up before the mission?

if you have no contact locked or selected and the XO TDC dialog box is open that is the opening screen I'm referring to. It allows you to either turn TDC on or turn TDC off

you must have the user option enabled to hide the XO. When in one of the scope screens expand the top right bar by clicking the little circle under the clock on the left. Then click the XO picture to highlight it and enable the XO picture. Click the XO picture. Now you should be able to set the TDC mode.
