Default I love the Silent Hunter Series

I love these games, the ultimate game of chess is a submarine sim. Why did they have to change the interface so much in SH5, without MODS, I would be going back to SH3 and SH4. Hope they go back to quick stations like in SH3 and 4 while giving the opiton of walking your avatar around.

Dunno, but in the real life the captains had no dials attached to their hats or head to have in visual range the sub status. Also looking in to the scope you were able to see only the sea and the targets, no dials. Also teleportation is available only in the SciFi movies, not in real life.. but I think this is not a breaking news.

I play the game with the UI hidden and voice command only, is what makes me feel like a real captain, not the dials and teleport to stations.

True, but nobody stop nor force you to play the game in real time. Wonder what will be the tonnage in 3 years with the realism set to 100%

The more options/choices the better...then hopefully everyone will be able to play the way they prefer.

Are you sure?

In my younger days I can remember being at a few Bars and next thing I know?
I'm wakeing up in a closet somewhere.

Did you know that when you teleport like that, your clothing sometimes vanishes!

Absolutely. The mulitude of options and levels of realism exist so that each can play as it suits them. I prefer very realistic, but if someone wants to play with auto TDC and unlimited fuel, more power to them.

I love options. The more the better. Somedays I'm in hardcore mode, somedays I'm in let's just blow something up mode. I despise having anything dictated to me as 'this is the only way it can be done'. If someone presents those situations to me then I will find a way to circumvent it just for spite (and because I can)

Yeah, I have those days too. Sometimes when I am in a bad mood I just want to blow stuff up, so I turn down the realism and watch the fireworks. Does wonders for your mood.

+1
I am also against teleportation. Everyone wants to make the game more realistic, but nobody wants to go on a boat, all Give teleportation. All they want realism, but why criticize the need of walking on a boat. This is absurd!
But this is realism, not something that teleportation.
IMHO

all of you that slam my teleportation that I included in the mod are forgetting one thing: you don't have to use it if you don't want to. It's there for those that do want to use it. Options people, it's all about having options.

It's not like TheThirdWraith is placing a gun to your head and telling you to use his mod or he'll shoot. Like he said, if you don't like the feature, don't use it. And if you really can't stand it, don't use his mod. Make your own.

Personally, I like his work. The walking interface is too clunky to be truly realistic.

Thx Guys The few that DON'T like the idea of CHOICES have size 8 shoe size and an IQ to match. They could play PeeWee football and play without a helmet.

That's what I'm doing. I'm not asking you to remove teleportation from your mod. I like it and the availability of teleportation do not bother me
I just expressed my opinion about teleportation.
