Sorry if this has been asked multiple times but to be honest ive been doing more playing than searching for an answer to my problem. I cant seem to figure out how to turn off the battery recharge so I can put on some speed when needed. Cant seem to find anything on it and the manual is...well.....

More crew commands by dialogue mod adds a lot of stuff including battery recharging etc by asking the crew member responsible for that action .

if you use my UIs mod you can set a user option that will disable battery recharging when you surface. It also allows you to turn it on/off via icons from the CE officer.
