Default No flak guns on Type XXI - help !

Been modding SH4 and play testing SH4 mods for some time. Decided to go back and remind myself how much fun driving a U-Boat could be so I returned to one of my saved configuraitons - SH3 GWX 2.0.

Haven't played SH3 for around 2 - 3 years. Tried to load all my old saved careers.... then rememebered - career running type VIIC ended badly (two V&W & one Hunt gave me a watery grave) ... and my type Ix career ended almost as badly .... so only career I had which I wasn't dead in was a type XXI loaded for fun, and starting in 1940 (I know .....).....

Anyhow I remember doing some missions with this career with no problems, so I decided to load it up rather than starting a career in an older boat ... I just wanted a few hours of fun and this career had me out in mid atlantic tracking a large convoy .... so I thought I'd dive in and resume it....

Now only problem is the flack guns don't appear to be working. I've not seen any plans to shoot at (mid atlantic, May 1940) ... but I can't go to the flack station with F10 and when I man the station and select fire at will, I get a message saying no flack gun available.

I've seen and downloaded the type XXi in 1938 mod and loaded that up with JSGME on top of GWX 2.0 and tried a test mission ... still no joy.

I could fix this in 2 minutes if it were SH4 .... but I've looked through the code in the 1938 XXI mod and can't see any issues or clues as to why the flack won;t work.

Anyone give me any pointers ?

Is that Wreford-Brown's XXi in 1939 mod you mean?
It was done for GWX 3 so may not work with GWX 2?

Correct - was wredford Browns version and I noted that it was for GWX 3.0 ..... but I also remember making the original 1939 starting mod manually using a post in these forums - justr can't find it now ....

What I'm trying to say is I don't think the code changes required to make the XXI playable are that complex and would be impacted between GWX versions - but am happy to be corrected.
