I'm running TMO 20 for a while now, and I've noticed one thing: bad weather.
Is it me, or when you're sailing around trying to find a ship to sink, the weather is usually very bad. Also if you're near a port. Extreme rain and visibility drops to around 30M. I never noticed it particulary so much in stock, and it's frustrating. Example: I was on my way back from a patrol and I was asked to sink any ships i could find. After many days of fruitless searching I picked up a merchant contact (a large modern tanker). However, the weather was how i described, and it's impossible to engage anything in weather like that, so I turned and left it, eventually returning to Fremantle emptyhanded. I've also noticed it when I've had to do recon pictures of ports too; I've had to submerge and reach within 45M of a ship to photograph it, with heavy rain. Is this something genuine in TMO or am I just a very unlucky skipper? Thanks |
