Flag Mod

I'm wondering if racerboys flag and pennant mod is any good? also how do I add the mod to my game? I'm currently playing the stock game.

Well, theres 2 ways:

1) Download JGSME (sp?), put the mod files into the JGSME file, then itll activate it.

2) It should come with instructions on the website/thread

Last I looked at installing it myself people were having some unexplained problems with it, which (at the time) prompted him to drop the project. I was gonna offer to send him over scans of the real u-boat pennants I have in my collection to add to his selection, at that point was when things went south and appeared all work stopped on it.

Think that the problems were specific to a few different types of boats, you should read through the whole thread (preferred) or at least the last few months to get an idea of what was going wrong and if it might affect you. When it worked corrrectly it looked really cool and everyone was happy, others experienced nothing but frustration trying to get it to work sadly. Which is really unusual, all his mods are generally airtight and have few if any errors or glitches; and all are done very well; must be something in the SDK that's causing the conflicts otherwise he'd have had it ironed out and finished long ago.

The last I remember, and it has been a while, he was having trouble making it work right with the type IX boats, and so had only released it for the type VII. If you wanted your tonnage to show on the pennants, you had to put the numbers on a blank pennant yourself with a graphics program, and load them into the game.
