ok so I know how to get an intercept course, I know how to calculate a ships speed (3;15 rule or distance and time and use a nomo graph), I also know how to calculate his bearing using marks and now the AoB what else am I missing here lol

No Im just pointing out I understand how to get those aspects of Manual targeting. and I feel like Im missing something (like finding AoB, depth of keel, etc etc.) idk lol

Sounds like you are doing the AOB correctly, though I measure the angles using the centres of both his ship and my sub as that's what I picked up whilst learning it.
Certainly in SH3 if you have plotted his course, have his speed and his AOB, all you need is the distance and your good to press the big red button. |
