So I just finished downloading GWX 3.0 from Jimbunas Filefront in its seperate parts (Gwx 3.1, 3.2,3.3,3.4,3.5,3.6,3.7 and GWX exe) now when I downloaded them they 3.1-.7's all show up as bin files with like a white page as the icon and the exe just says GWX and has a white page, I was told after I got all the files Id click the exe and it would install them? well when I click on it it asks what I want to open it with?? Its not a zip file is it?? or do I need to do something else first?

is it a zip? if so, it should be blahblahblah.zip, and youll need to extract it with winzip or any other zip opener.
winzip is free, its shareware, itll ask you to pay for it but thats for people who use it to make profits and whatnot, so ignore the begging. |

Windows 7 also has a basic built in zip extractor. Just right click on the .exe file to check its properties. If it is zipped, then right click and select "extract here" to unzip it in place, copy and paste the uncompressed .exe file to the same folder as the binary files and then double click on the .exe to begin installation.

Its not a zip there is no extract option . I hate windows 7 -_- they had totake something that worked perfectly fine and make it harder
![]() It just says that its type is a File and all the other ones (the 3.1-3.7) are BIN files |

I don't think you have done anything wrong.
have you tried renaming the GWX file to GWX.exe? if I remember back to went I installed GWX is seemed fairly straight forward, get all the bin files downloaded the one file kicked off the install. if you're still stuck Jimbuna is your man, he WILL be able to help, do not destroy your computer in frustation in the meantime. and it will be worth GWX is ace. |

Make sure the exe file is named GWX.exe
If it's not, just rename it. (Some of the exe files were comeing down without the exe extension for some reason) Also make sure your speakers are turned up loud. Some of the sounds may be kind of weak. ![]() |

wow that was simple.. Okay well everyone has told me so far I need to pull SH3 as well as commander out of the Programfiles(x86) folder and put it straight into the C drive and another problem Ive found is I cant figure out how to get JSGME to run. Like I cant have it start up in a base folder like it says in the instructions to change, I cant change that. and do I need a config file for SH3 Commander to run with GWX?
