Default RFB 2.0 Help!!

Hi guys,

After having discovered an older version of RFB Im enjoying this game so much more. I highly recommend it to everyone.

However Im now ready for the new RFB v2.0 but I (apparently) need SH4 v 1.5. I have the 1.4 patch I assume that 1.5 refers to a patch. If so where can I find this patch as Im desperate to try RFB2.0.

Please can someone advise !?

The UBM (U-Boat Missions) is basically an expansion disk which as part of the deal raises SHIV to v1.5. The best advise I could give you is to buy SHIV The Gold Edition which contains both SHIV and the UBM. The Subsim Store should have copies of the Gold Edition available. I'd start there.

Unfortunately, even if you never intend to play the U-Boats, most of the mods require 1.5.

It kinda sucks but it only costs 10 bucks and it makes the moder's lives easier and that helps us all.

You would probrably get more answers on the SH5 Forums. For me personaly, I'm staying clear of SH5 for now even though I just bought a new rig capable of running it in all it's eyecandy glory. Just the fact of needing a constant internet connection to the UBI server is enough of a turnoff for me.

I am sorry, but the forum rules prevents me from answering your question

Seriously, there are some good mods out there for SH5. SH5 does not equal SH3 + GWX. So if you go into SH5 thinking that you will be getting a newer SH3/GWX you will be very disappointed. SH5 is a totally different game and different from other subsims.

Some here like it
Some here hate it
Most probably like/hate it.

Read the comments in the SH5 forum but realize that some were expecting Bride of SH3 (and were disappointed). But there are many good critiques of the game that will allow you to make up your own mind.

SH5 won't replace SH3, nor was it intended to. If you judge SH5 as its own game, you might like it.

A "can of worms" is unacceptable language?
I didn't see an edit, so it must be his original post.

Default RFB 2.0

Ive just got the full mont v1.5 and downloaded RFB 2.0. I really dont mean any offence but Im not massively impressed (at least not on my machine anyway) Ive got a huge fps so the graphs are working fine its just the graphs themselves. The boats look too plasticy, too new. I was 1.4 with RFB 1.4 which I have to say at first plays I prefer.

Ill keep going and update this as and when.

I really appreciate all the work that went into it but Im a 1.4 fan at the moment....

No, he was stating that he couldn't answer the question because of some words he may use in the answer.
