Default What do Cornishmen and Tangiermen have in common?

We recently moved to an island in the Chesapeake Bay called Tangier in the state of Virginia. It was settled by Brits in the early 1600's. And still it's been somewhat isolated for decades. When they speak to 'come heres' such as myself they can make themselves somewhat understandable. Though when speaking amongst themselves they sound more like their Cornish ancestors did.

Anyways the main reason I posted this was to draw your attention to YouTube (search ESPN3 Tangier) gives you an idea what the island and people are like. One of a kind place this Tangier is.
