Need help changing radar settings.

Hi everyone.

My goal is simple. Extend the Radar detection range. I just don't know which file to edit to achieve this simple goal. I've already messed around with some files but to no success. Could someone point me in the right direction? Just let me know which file it is i need to modify. Thanks

Hopefully its not one of those weird files like .GR2 or .ZON. I can't figure out how to modify these files.

The reason I want to have my radar changed is because I just believe that realistically radar should have a farther detection range then sonar. I know water is a great medium for sound waves but c'mon my sonar can detect objects 2X as far as my radar can. Maybe its a bug?

EDIT: Even if it isn't a bug and its working properly I still want to change it anyways.
