I recently got my gaming computer back from the shop. I installed a few games on it and they wouldn't work for some reason... when I installed SH4 it had a "cannot initiate 3d engine" error did standard procedures to fix and could not, then uninstalled it and installed SH3 which came with the same error. Other games of mine had various other errors or froze when I tested them. I decided to look around on the forums here to see if there was anything of use to me, and I found a post were someone mentioned a "Direct X Diagnostic Tool" which might be used to fix this... I was wondering were this was and if anyone could help... thanks.
