Limber hole placement?
I have noticed, that on the VIIC boats, there are severial varients of the hole placement, and number of holes. Is this due to the different shipyards, individual designs, or was each boat unique?

I believe the only difference would come from shipyard to shipyard.

I suspected it was the different shipyards, but it also appears ther was some R&D mods of the original boats after commissioning. The reason Im interested is , I am currently scratch building a large scale typVIIc. Initially it was to be a basiclly generic boat, and not an actual replica of any particular one but now I believe it will be an early version of a Krupp 1938-40 VIIC without the deck net cutter, but with the lower still intact, and the sprey guard mod. with 5th Flotilla emblim. possiblly u98.
