(REQ) Recon missions

Could anyone advise on the way to fulfill a recon misssion?

I am playing the recon Narvik mission in 1940 and have reached the port of Narvik, got to the entrance to the harbour but not sure what to do next.

Do I just hang around for a period of time?

In the Narvik mission, wasn't it the Bergen port you have to recon? Nevermind...
...Whatever port it is, lock onto/target a ship, any ship in the harbour, and a little button "Take Photo" should appear in the centre of your optics, click it, job done.

Thanks. I was wondering how to take pictures myself. Now I can get it done instead of acting like I never got my orders.

Belated thanks for your reply- I have found that now!

I was actually in Narvik and have also had a recon mission in Trondheim so they are all there in the mix
