Hi. I installed sh3 and i tried to install v1.4b patch but it said unknown version de_menu.txt i deleted de_menu.txt and eng_menu.txt than 1.4b patch intalled successfully. But 1.4 patch didnt restore de_menu.txt and eng_menu.txt. Game crashing after loading screen and i cant see 1.4 on loading screen.What should i do?

Maybe You have game version alredy patched with patch 1.4b?

Right click on the SH3 application in your root directory

Click on properties

Click on Details

It will tell you what product version you have installed.

My game version was 1.0.0.1(properties>Details) I installed 1.4b patch succesfully my game version 1.4.0.1(properties>Details) now. But i cant see 1.4 in loading screen.

I copy-paste old de_menu and eng_menu to sh3>data>menu and game isnt crash anymore but i cant see some words in game

Did you remove the Silent hunter base folder before reinstalling? It could have been left over from a previous instal, and left untouched by the reinstall.

Uninstall using the option on your disc, delete the SH3 folder in C\MyDocs and perform a registry clean.

You can use the free trial version from here:

http://www.regvac.com/fregvac.htm

Now perform a full reinstall.
