Default "Out of Ammo!"

There is a need to have a mesage popup or something indicating ammo depletion for both the AA and Deck gun. Imagine doing a surface attack and the gunners are taking a nap.

I never run out of ammo....

Its about stealth. Not getting into gun fights.

I only use my deck gun and AA guns on unarmed merchants. if they fire back, or my crew spot aircraft, then im outta there. My sub cant take many hits, with TDW's IRAI mod installed.

But there does need to be some sort of weapons screen that tells you how much ammo you have.

I do use the gun on unarmed merchants. In fact I killed 9 of them in an unescorted convoy with it. I just thought it would be nice to have some indication from the gun crew that ammo ran out.

Only way so far to check ammo is to man the gun manually. I would like ammo status in the dmg/status screen

You could use my Reports and Returns mod to keep an accurate track on your usage on ammunition resources

I believe if you also go to damage control screen and click on the deck gun I "believe" it also displays ammo count, it could be max ammo as when I found it I hadn't used my DG yet.
