Missing torpedo track ?

Hello all,

I own a steam version of silent hunter 4, my problem is normally there is a track of torpedo shown on the attack map but somehow it dissappears. I checked the realism settings and nothing to do with it. Do you have an idea to resolve this. is it a bug ? since it is under the bug fixes of 1.4.
i have searched the forum but couldnt manage to find a solution.

Welcome aboard!

Could it be that the torpedo is unable to reach the target? If the target is behind you, and you have forward tubes selected, the torpedo track will not show. Same for a target ahead of you with aft tubes selected.

Other than that, haven't seen this since they fixed the bug.

I noticed that it is v1.3, so i have to find a way to patch it.

If you want to add any mods to it, go all the way up to the U-boat add on. Most of the major mods made these days are for the 1.5 version.

ok i downloaded the u-boat add-on via steam and the version is 1.5
