August 19, 2010 I broke down and bought SH5 on sale at BB. I had planned to buy it on day one but , lets not get into that.

The game is gorgeous, I must say. On XP sp3 with my Prescott 3.2ghz 2GB ram and a 7950GTOC runs between 24 and 8 fps. But it runs, will upgrade the GPU if it will make a difference. No new CPU till after XMAS.

Its clear to me that someone really really cared about this sim, and someone else really did not. Its IMHO really ambitious but needed another 9 months to a year to get right. No problem with DRM yet, but I do feel a bit violated.

Im now looking for the handfull of key mods for the current patch I need to get my feet wet in this sim. Any suggestions or a thread would be great.
