Default ~ It always feels like someone is watching you ~

The other day I saw an article on how Wal Mart was considering placing tracking chips in their clothing.

Today I read this...

Quote:
NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Unilever's Omo detergent is adding an unusual ingredient to its two-pound detergent box in Brazil: a GPS device that allows its promotions agency Bullet to track shoppers and follow them to their front doors.
http://adage.com/globalnews/article?article_id=145183

I would be tempted to buy 4 boxes and mail them to the four points of the compass just to freak them out.

So they are putting a tracking device in 50 boxes of detergent and whoever buys one of those boxes gets a prize

That pretty much sums it up.

Scenario:

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* "OMG!! It's a BOMB!!"

runs out the door ... collides with Unilever rep on the stairs

What ever my "tighty-whities" say, don't believe it! They lie!

I'd give a box to the boy and see if the buggas are prepared to track it as far away as Alaska

You guys aren't very creative.

I'd take the box to places they'd really be shocked to see it; like outside the bedroom window of the daughter of the promotion agency's president.
Or you could just follow the guy around town for a while, maybe leave the box in the back seat of his car.

GPS tracking dexice many people have that in their own cell phone. People with the right wquipment could turn on that GPS in the cellphone to track the user where about without the user having to turn on the GPS itself from his cellphone.

Amazing isn't it and we churned so much money so some people could better spy on us.

This has been used by law enforcement too to find kidnapped victim for example.
