Hi I am totally new here. I bought SH V just to support Ubi romania. Now after finishing exams i finally have time to begin with SHV

Can you tell me what to read or where to begin?

What mods do you recommend or is there a final modpack or modlist?

It can be very confusing .
1/ create a desktop shortcut of your silent hunter 5 folder (it makes it easier to return to the game files) .
2/ download the mod enabler http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=163447
3/ download TDW user interface mod http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=166093
4/ download TDW artificial intelligence mod http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=171973
5/ Follow the steps and enable these 2 mods into your mod enabler and enable them .
6/ download other mods .

I will recommend you a MOD:

(download Capthelms Sound Mod !! )

First you have to do is:
- get used to JSGME (Generic Mod Enabler)
- Install some UI MOD (TheDarkWright or Reaper).
- Install AI MOD (TDW)
- Be more aggressive !!
