Default Destroyers at 0kts

I've been playing waiting for the next campaign and so I've been harassing ports, but they are all empty. So I've been taking out warships.. I know a waste of a torpedo but I hate them with a passion. I've been seeing destroyers just sitting in the water at 0 knots and not shooting. Tonight I probably downed about 8 destroyers that were bugged.. anyone else see this?

Also it was invulnerable!! I emptied ALL of my shells into one of them and it didn't do a thing. Now I found a smaller 4000 ton merchant that took 5 torpedos to sink! Wow what a buggy game.

Could have been one of the British torpedo traps -- merchant vessels loaded with hundreds and thousands of empty barrels, to keep the Germans wasting ammo while the trap stays afloat... Happened in reality, was mostly 1940/41... if this is modeled in game. Else, it is probably a damage model that needs tuning...

true.

Q ships used this system

kretschmer sunk HMS Patroclus and empty barrels gushed from a hole made by the torpedo, it takes 5 impacts ,breaking the ship in two and sunk.

Oh! So you have met them... ¡The zombie destroyers! These awesome british secret naval weapon were made in china with bamboo and a lot of toothpick. You can find them everywhere because they are managed by trained monkeys and rats. Churchill Knew that every u-boot captain can´t resist shooting a stopped destroyer... so you´ll waste all your torpedoes while british mechants can travel safe across all seas. But don´t get overconfident! Monkeys are watching... don´t surface, the monkeys are hungry and armed! Too few bananas in british navy those days!
Need to say that some experts assure that this project never existed. Not enough toothpick and trained monkeys in 1937, when the project started. In any case SHV guys insist they were REAL and numerous.

So you are being serious ? the game modelled this? I was able to float right up to one and you could see people walking around on deck saluting and stuff.. I got credit for the kill so I don't care..
