Default [REQ] Neutral Ships

Hi.

After visiting the in-game museum, I realised that this game is in dire need of more neutral ships. USSR, for example, only displays a submarine. And the USSR Roster folder is empty as well. It's as if the devs included ship spawning following the career progress ONLY, which S*CKS because when you are in the north sea, there's nothing but Brits and Germans.

I'm a GWX fan. I LOVE that mod, and the fact that it included A LOT of neutral ships made it become, when combined with SH3 of course, the best submarine simulation EVER. Heck, they're still boasting about it!

Of course, the re-uniting of the Grey Wolves would be like god himself descending from the heavens (I'm still dreaming), but is there anyone here capable of reproducing their work?

There are a great many modders around who can do the work. Some of them were with GWX and some were not. The ones who weren't but still did great mods are probably less likely to pitch in and help when they see you praise one supermod as if it's the only good thing that ever happened.

I love GWX, and even I think it's annoying.

Sorry, I was just repeating what people over at SH3 section said. In this thead.

No, GWX was NOT the best thing ever to happen, I'm aware there's other good mods around. I was just trying to joke a bit.

Ah. I apologize then. We would all like to see SH5 achieve its potential to be the best subsim ever. I've mentioned several times in the SH4 forums that I wish that game had not been ignored so much.

There are indeed groups of modders from different teams and those who have always worked alone getting together to see what they can accomplish. It may only be a matter of time.
