SH5 by far is in the worst state.

It seems UBI was determined to see how incomplete of a game they could release before NO ONE bought it. Each release of the SH series has progressively been worse and worse.

Could someone... anyone, please tell me what, in the name of God, is the point of this thread?

Seriously, what could possibly come out of this that has not already been re-hashed about a million times over?

Maybe to make fun of the bad grammer in the title thread?

Just Kiddin.

SH2, definitely. As soon as I opened it the game started complaining about everything.

"I was stuck in that box for weeks! Couldn't see a thing! couldn't breathe! Nothing to eat! The people who packed me were cretins! Dirty hands, didn't tape up the envelope properly! And the manufacturing press? Don't even get me started!"

Talk about issues! Every time I open the drawer it's still going on, after eight years!

Sheesh!

I never tried Sh2, but between SH3 and SH5, id have to say SH4 was worse at release. I'm also guessing half the people here never tried it, so they wouldn't know any better. Again, this is all self pity. BOO hoo, my next messiah in subsim gaming isn't living up to my expectations.. whatever shall i do? Woe is me!

Sorry but you're doing something wrong then. I'm still using 1.0 and it's very much playable.

It's one of those "look at me, I don't like this game, I knew it would probably suck but I got it anyways and now I'm angry! WHO's WITH ME!?"

There's one thing I very much enjoyed in SH2 and that was sailing in rough weather. The boat was really riding the waves uuuuupppp and then fall back down, not this sub on rails stuff we have now. That was awesome! Would record a clip off it but it doesn't work that well on newer machine.

But it might be a zombie horse...

Best to just keep kicking it, for safety's sake.

This horse has been beaten so much that it's been reduced to its component atoms.
