Assassins creed 2 owner got a free game, when DRM servers were down!

I stumbled across this while on wikipedia,

"Following the series of server outages, Ubisoft offered owners of the Windows version all DLC from the Assassin's Creed II Black Edition, or a free copy of Heroes over Europe, Tom Clancy's Endwar, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X, or Prince of Persia (2008).

This is grossly unfair, SH5 owners should have gotten the same choice. Ubisoft just cares about people buying their flagship games, like Assassins creed 2.

Welcome to months ago...

It's not unfair, it's Nanny State at work. Assassins Creed 2 is rated M for Mature (Pegi 18) so they were able to offer M rated war games. Silent Hunter 5 was rated T for Teen (Pegi 12) so they were only able to offer us children's games, like Shawn White's Stupidboarding.

Not to be nit picky but All those games are also rated T. So we just got the shaft with the crappy choices, Endwar and Hawx are actually fun games.

I did.

but it went to the e mail address i use for signing up for useless crap as a spam prevention tool.

I only check that e mail once every month or so... but sure enough it was there.

Ah well, I got Volvo Racing game from where I bought SH5 (which I don't remember

). So, that's my free game then.
