I don't think it unreasonable to expect this to happen soon.
People just have to stop fearing the GR2 stuff and move forwards.

some Tools need finished or adjusted so that everyone can work the files.

That is going to happen.
Just not tomorrow.

Silly things like Jobs, Family, Friends, and so forth get in the way.
