Default Operation Drumbeat~Resupply

Where the hell are they Milk Cows??

I'm now in the middle of the Atlantic with 50% Fuel and my objective at the moment is to connect with U-49something and refuel... I've looked in the campaign files and I've positioned myself close enough to these spots but still OKM Denies me

Type 9s, Milcows (type 14), proper US aircraft will come to shv, give it time.
For now.... get the oars out and row, or hoise a sail to the periscope.

I thought those had been in since release? How could you do Paukenschlag in a Type VII without mid-ocean refueling??????? That would be a real no-brainer... That would have been like incorporating wolfpacks and then abandoning convoys in this version...

Yes i couldnt agree more. I dont want to sound negative but its thinks like these that make it less apealling to play sh-5 bit by bit even with all the mods. Its like buying a house and find out that the base of the house is rotten and you start fixing stuff here and there only to find out that the house had even more shortcommings then you thought it had. Its not that i ever played a game before that had its shortcommings but sh-5 is by far the most broken and incomplete and badly developed game i have ever seen before.

Bdu says:

BE MORE AGGRESIVE!

You have 50 men (well 27 that you can see anyway).... get them outside and PADDLE the UBOAT...save fuel. And they will do this all with Olaf's "special" soup...heh heh

OK seriously, I'd really like to know what to do. This refuelling bit has been said to work by some people yet I don't know how to get it to work.

Also, my main objective was to rendevouz with U49something and refuel. The location was shown on the map during the briefing, however when I click on the icon whilst on patrol it does not show the location of my rendevouz

Is ridiculous that ubi don´t include IX-B and C boats using the same interiors or ar least a good ressuply system.

For me the game is half finished until some things will be included or fixed.

But there are some possibilities that big boats can be used in long range patrols using mods

This is not the problem, the big question is arrive to the patrol zone and return to base or the ressuply point ( if it exist )

Once in the patrol zone is possible stay a lot of days stay under the surface at day and recharge at night, always near of the ship lanes.

But as i said before...you have to arrive before...

If they had a IX-B with a VII interior the complaining would have been even worse than having no IX at all.

Krauter, can you verify that you're in these areas when you call for resupply?

I think the problem is with the 'Patrol this area". If you dont get a mission specified target in the patrol area, within the week, BdU tells you to return to base and ends the mission. I think thats why your resupply zones disappeared.

No, it showed me the rendevouz area during my briefing. But as I left port and checked it was not there
