Default Algiers I hate you!!

In my current campaign with my VIIB U-83 I am assigned to the Med out of La Spezia. Its November '42 and the Amies have landed in Afrika and have pushed Rommel past Algiers. So the Port of Algiers is teaming with landing ships, troops ships and all sorts of goodies

After 5 hours submerged playing hide and sneak with destroyers in 30m waters I manage to pass through their outer picket undetected. I manage to get withing firing distance 4000m+ I am at 11m depth with another meter or so below the keel. I fire off 4 TIII with magnetic pistols at 3 troop ships and 1 Dido CL. Turned around to make my escape and wait for the fireworks to start. Hydrophone picks up a premature detonation! Up periscope and indeed a ball of flame appears 2/3 of the way to target! Then another and another and another WTF????

Then I did something I rarely do. Pause the game go to the external cam and check out the last detonation and what do I find below the water? You guessed it an anti-torpedo net

I would expect something like that at Gibraltar or Alexandria but not Algiers!!

Damn them!!! I was robbed! I want my money back!!! AAAAAARGH!!

You should know better then to set the dept of any torpedo to no more then 1-2 meters when attacking a port. That dept usually allows for your fishes to just sail above the nets and still reach their targets. Im not sure if 4k meters is a bit too far for the magnetic fuse since they tend to detonate at long ranges. May want to try impacts, but that's just my two cents.

Hope u make it out ok and get to come back and get some!
