Delay Write Failed - Yellow Triangle


I am getting a lot of game freezes lasting up to 20-30 seconds , once when I hit save game ( in game ) the screen froze for about 2mins before coming back.

Now after one of the last saves I docked at the end of a patrol , I was standing in the pen and all the watch crew and guns were all outlined usually they only go that way when I point my cursor at them..

The last two times I've came out the game I get ...

A yellow triangle in my toolbar which says ... Delay Write Failed -


Do you think this is linked to SH5 as in Freezes

Are you still saving games online?

If so change it ao that you aren't - click the cog icon on the top right side of the loader.

Sounds almost like it might be a hard drive error on your PC?

Yeah, check your hard disk. Delayed write is where any changes you save are cached in memory and then actually saved later. If you have a problem with the physical disk, you will get a 'delayed write error', if it can't save the data to the HDD.
