Default Astro photos (largish pics)

I got myself a 5" Newtonian reflector for my birthday. Well chuffed.

Anyway I took it out in the garden tonight and even with the light pollution I saw Mars, and Saturn with her rings amongst others. Still think I need to colimate properly though. Anyway I put my camera on the thread for mounting a camera on the telescope (not through the view finder but on the barrel.

I saw a few stars last night too....after hitting my head on the garage door

I especially liked seeing the shooting star
