I am in my first deep campaign with TMO 1.9 (late 1943) and have found some new patterns from search airplanes. In the early years it seemed that planes randomly came into range within my line of sight, rarely say within a one or two mile buffer around my boat. In this new pattern it seems like that are right on target, bearing right down on my location. Is it possible they are homing in on my radar signals?
Don't know if this is built into the game or not. |

Perhaps they have radar? I'm not sure when they developed airborne radar, but that could explain it.

.....but if you are in enemy waters and have already been spotted by a previous aircraft and you haven't changed course then the AI will "know" where you are so to speak.

The AI randomly spawns planes and they head to your basic location, they head towards you then come back...
Some planes do have radar. When you can get the APR1 with TMO. With that you can pick up radar detection and you'll know what planes and aircraft have surface radar. You can also use the cam to see different types on planes and ships. |
