Default A couple of small MASS EFFECT 2 mods...

Contrary to what the title suggests, this is one mod not two.

Download link: http://www.filefront.com/16853587/Shaders.zip

The zip contains two shader files. To install the mod just replace the original shader files with these ones (remember to backup the two original files before you replace them).

This mod will:
- Change the bloom effect to something much more subtle and IMO more realistic-looking.
- Slightly change the "contrast" of the image (dark colours are no longer "crushed to black").
- Disable DOF.

I'll take some screenshots and post them here... sometime...

You have the first one ?

IF you haven't you might want too (for the Story), its cheap nowadays like ~10$ EA Value edition.

Personally I think it's the best game I've played in years. The first one was just okay, but this one is superb. Not perfect of course, but a lot closer than most ever get.

As Hunter says, it's better to play them both.

I heard the second is better than the first. I'm playing fallout 3 and enjoy that type of game play. I understand this is similar.

Sort of. I was actually expecting something more along the lines of your average Knights of the Old Republic in terms of gameplay (combat especially), but when I discovered it wasn't turn-based (or something similar) combat I couldn't stop playing. And the combat is very well done, IMO.

Haven't gotten the 2nd game yet, hopefully it won't be too long until I do.

I watched 2 complete LPs of the game. (being that I havent had the money to buy it, been saveing up for PC upgrades) both didnt choose the same options. But even tho it was a lp, and I wasnt playing. I got sucked in by it, the story IMO is great, the charecters are also pretty good, I like how the game puts so much into the story/ Races. Even makeing a past history for them.

Impressive mod, sir, it makes the game look better, more realistic believable, thus immersive. Did you sent Bioware your résumé yet?

It's a very small download and a very simple installation. I will post shots in a few days as promised, but in the meantime if you have ME2 installed then you might as well just try it and see!
