Default Bad weather!

Has anyone been in any storms, or seem epicly bad weather?

I'm currently half way through '41 and not had a single storm, only seen rain once. Am I just being particularly lucky, or is this something that others have noticed?

Sev.

I've seen lots of bad weather, more than nice weather actually. So bad that you can't see a thing, and a ship on less than 100m.

Once I lost the chance to fire upon an unarmed cargoship because the fog. It was so dense that I had visibility under 100m and the ship almost ramed me when she sudden apeared out from the fog .. scared me pretty much. I had the chance to see the ship for only few seconds before she got lost again in the fog...

Yes I've encountered a few storms (defined as thunder and lightning)

Yesterday tracked a convoy in a rainy, foggy, thundery daytime storm, and tried to stay with it for several hours until the weather cleared. With no distance scale on my map, I was zoomed in to a certain level and I thought I was maintaining ~ 6k from the hydrophone contacts. After about 5 ingame hours of shadowing, I checked my distance ruler, and found I had been only from 300-800m from the nearest ship the entire time. Absolutely no sign of visibility.

How about this for bad weather? I was tracking an unescorted convoy through the fog when I caught sight of the tail end of a troopship. Even though I was less than a boat length away from the ship, I couldn't see it's bow as I shelled it to death...
