Default What's the difference between the IXB and IXC?

Hi all, I'm at the stage where i have the choice to upgrade to an IXC if i want although i'm not sure of the differences between that and the IXB i'm using with one of my campaigns now.

Pretty much nothing except for the range.
Upgrading would be a good choice.

This is from fact, I've never played the game and the specifications may be different.

IXC is a bit faster has better range carries more external reloads in RL. I am not sure if all these changes have been implemented in game though... I drive VIIs for a living not too familiar with the bigger cousin.

In GWX 3.0....Oh yes.

TBH, if it were me, I'd save the renown for the D2 and then max it out.

IXC gets more tower upgrades I think, plus better range. You lose a flak gun mount, though. (At least with the standard conning tower)

The IXB is a faster diver, and more agile.
Drive the IXB like a uboat.

Drive the bigger IXC, and up, more like the submarines of other navies.

Hint: A L A R M !
(I like the IXB best.)
