The President of Poland has reached his final destination

Today on Sunday the 18th, Poland's President Lech Kaczyñski was buried with full military honors by the Armed Forces of Poland at Wawel Royal Castle in Kraków. In the name of the Polish Armed Forces I would like to thank our Commander-in-chief for his service. I would also like to thank all people from all over the world for their support during these sad times for my nation.

RIP to all victims of this accident.

I read that Medvedev also attended, and that there has been a big interest in Russia about things relating to Katyn. Maybe something good has already come out of this in the form of a more serious dialog between Poland and Russia about Katyn etc.
