I tried TMOwTw 1.7 and was unable to run TC higher than 256 without CTDs. I have a 2.2 ghz processor running XP Pro, ATI Radeon 4850 adapter and 4 meg ram. Will I be able to run RFB better than TMO? I run stock 1.5 with RSRDC with no problems.

From my experience the two mods are almost identical in performance.
EDIT: You do mean 4 GIG of RAM? ![]() Last edited by TH0R; 04-16-10 at 10:30 AM. |

Depends on the processor. I have for ages run both RFB and TMO on the following;
AMD X2 4800 Socket 939 Nvidia 9800GT 4 gigs of ram Win XP Pro SP3 Nothing to write home about in the FPS department but solid performance no CTD's and no Save Game problems. If the install is doing the CTD thing then I suspect, hardware overheating issues, a broken OS, or a hosed install of SH4.

Yes, I did mean 4 gig RAM. I just DL'd RFB 2. Should I use this 2. or the 1.752 version?

Definitely RFB 2.0. The new patch for it will be released soon.
