Default Hosting Problem

Hi,i recently installed XP 64bit to make use of my full 6g RAM,SH3 and SH4 run beautifully on-line,however when i try to host, although my ping is at the same levels it was before my change in OS,when the game starts all other players drop at the start of the game, this never happened in XP 32 bit and i could host 8 players even with the most complex coop games and ADV ran flawlessly,iv tried all the usual things,i even tried to run the game without using any firewall and anti virus programs,i have tried game booster to disable any other programs running in the background,SH is on the list of accepted programs, and im not using a wirelewss router or anything that would interfere with the other players connections.i have a 20mg broadband connection and all other games work perfecly online.any ideas how to cure this? (iv tried reinstalling the game 4 times and removed all other traces of it on the PC)..thanks in advance.hobbs023.

64 bit XP was a bit of a hybrid - I seriously would ditch it if at all possible.
