Default Regarding online synced saves

Are people having troubles losing saves because of this feature still?
I turned synced saves off as it seemed to be the suggested way to go in the early days. Just thinking it would be handy to turn them on now with the incoming patch so i can do a fresh install of sh5 and have my saves safely online.

With the new patch your old saved points will likely be bugged anyways... your best bet is to start a new campaign after the patch.

This. The new patch changes campaign files (in order to fix ships crashing into the docks and stuff) so it's 99.9% guaranteed that you'll need to start a new campaign anyway.

Besides, if you turned off the saves anyway, it'll blow away anything you currently have with whatever you had when you turned it off before. Once you turn it off you can't turn it back on without ruining your day.

Well, never had it turned on, was just wondering if it would of been wise just prior to the patch to do so.
However I do not mind starting over, it is all good
