Ships breaking into peices
Hi just wondering if theres a certain place to aim for that allows ships to break in to sections. Seen it a couple of times but can never replicate it.

If you're going for a ship braking in two the best place to hit is middle of target, MOT. But it's very random, I've had some brake very often and than none at all. Even broke one with the deck gun if you can believe that.

A modified torpedo can certainly guarantee a ship to break into pieces
![]() ![]() In a non-modified game I beleive the weakest spot would be in the center of the ship closest to the bottom. I could be wrong, but I think that's right. |

Yeah your right i just hit one in the middle and it crumbled in on it self. I've also done it with a deck gun...Thats why i was so confused about how its actually done.

I think you're more likely to break it up if you hit lower too... right at the keel. This is a little difficult to do since the torpedoes tend to run deep (early war) and you don't want to pass them under the target without triggering.
