Strange Clear sky after using TC

I've noticed a problem with the sky. I'm around Norway and whenever i use TC, when i set it back to 1x the sky is really clear with no clouds and the sky is a sort of turquoise colour with really strange sunlight.

I'm using the ali clouds and moon mod and Capthelms lighting effects mod, but i've been using these mods for a while now and never noticed this problem before. I am thinking its a problem in the Norway area, as i only started having this problem while in this area.

Can anyone help as I feel like i'm sailing around paradise island and not around Norway.

BTW, i have an ATI 5850 video card.
