do you have JSGME?
if not get it here

then extract it into your MODS folder

do this by placing New Narwhal K v 1.8.rar into your MODS folder, right click on it and press "extract here"
then open up JSGME and you should be able to enable it.

have fun!

edit, if you need an extractor, here's the trial version of WINRAR
http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-b...-10007677.html
it's a 30-40 day free trial, but it won't stop working at the end of your trial period, you just get an annoying popup telling you to get the full version.

Thank you Sledge. Now do I have to start a new career to get it to work then?

yup,
you should check the Narwhal Contest thread and make sure you have the Asiatic fleet fix Keltos made. should be a couple pages before the last one. even though the Narwhal's operated out of Pearl, the asiatic fleet is always good if you just want to jump right in to the action. I've seen some scary things on my Run Silent Run Deep campaign mod just north of Manila

Alright, I'll check that out tomorrow. I need to get a few hours sleep before work now.

Thanks for the heads up Sledghammer, Downloaded Narwhal yesterday but only tried it out in a single patrol. I've been looking for a single merchie to try out the two deck guns and have only found three TF's??????

If you are using TMO you must uninstall Narwhal before running any other boat, according to Ducimus yesterday.

I can not start with the Narwhal class, could you point me in the right direction of what other mod I may need to download? Yes I did try the "Narwhal Contest" thread. Couldn't find it.

we did our best to give you a real Narwhal-looking Narwhal.
people had already hacked (by hacked I mean, made a Narwhal hack, not actually breaking the game and copyright. bad use of words here) the game and made a regular fleet boat ACT like the boat but until now nobody has made a 3d representation of the Narwhal class.

Enter SH427 and Keltos!

for the stock game, just drop this (your asiatic fleet fix, Admiral8Q) file into this string
Quote:
C:\program files\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter Wolves of the Pacific\MODS\New Narwhal K v1.8\Data\UPCData\UPCCampaignData
for those running TMO or RFB or any mod that includes the Narwhal and a campaign written for it, just go into the string and move UPCCampaignData into another folder. Don't delete it though, you never know when you might need it.
DON'T DO THIS IN THE MAIN GAME FOLDER!!!!!!
do it in your narwhal mod folder.

hope I helped. anyone who needs anything special can contact me via PM!

Is there a way to manually take control of the forward deck gun? I find I'm chasing down ships rather than running from them in the Narwhal.
