Default Realistic Flooding Times? Case study: HMS HOOD; sinking after a single torpedo hit.

DATA:
-Torpedo mechanism: Magnetic pistol
-Torpedo's depth: 12m (1m underneath the ship)
-Result: Medium size hole created on the bottom, port side, 1/3 ship's length from the bow
-Sea condition: calm
-Sinking time: 15min

True or false?
(I am using GWX3.0 sinking mechanics)

I'm guessing that the placement of the damage is a factor too, i.e. does the hull rupture cover just one compartment or is it spread over 2+ compartments where the torpedo exploded under a bulhead causing greater damage than an explosion in the center of a compartment section.

I presume the 3D models' zones are configured this way, making torpedo placement a factor in flooding times.

True. But a 48000tns Battlecruiser is to take negative buoyancy from flooding in 15min? From one hit?

I don't think so. It shouldn't even sink just from flooding from one torpedo. There might be a succession of onboard catastrophes from the hit, but that would then take hours.

Agree. Is there any reliable ship damage/sinking mechanics mod around?
