Always Crash!

My games always crash when I go in the boot. On the Bridge all is fine. I try all drivers, new install e.t.c. I really go crazy. All other games working fine. I got Win7 64bit and a Geforce 8800GTX.

Maybe someone can help

WELL - Win 7/64 ain't the problem. I use it too (Home Premium Edition)

When you installed and got that screen indicating if your equipment was adequate, what'd it tell you? I'd just put it a new GTS250 before the install and that screen told me my drivers weren't up to date! SO, I uninstalled SH5, checked the driver situation over at nVidia, saw they were the, "latest and greatest," and then reinstalled SH5. This time, everything passed and there've been no problems since.

One other BIG thing! Make sure Ubi's servers are alive when you (or, IF you) re-install! It should automatically run a patch (1.1.5, if memory serves). My first install failed due to Ubi's servers taking a over-long break from the harsh reality of running the undersea world...

Is the DVD version. I hear that other people got the same problem with that dark screen and crash.
My equipment is ok and works and is also ok for SH5. When I use very low settings and 1024x ..... it also crash.

When I delete the files (cfg and Mission Editor) in SH5 from Documents the game runs in wrong resolution without crash. When I start the game again and play a new mission problems back again.

When I delete C:\Users\Conveen\Documents\SH5\data die Ordner "cfg" und "MissionEditor" and start the game he use the Desktop resolution and the game works. But when I go in the graphic settings and change something over there and restart the game the crash is back. So some error is in this sector, some got a idea?

So I help my self

Go to C:\Users\User\Documents\SH5\data die Ordner "cfg" over there is the "main.cfg" file. Open with notepad and delete just this:

FullScreen=Yes
Resolution=1024,768,58,22

Before:

[VIDEO]
AntialiasingLevel=0; 0=none, 1=non-maskable, 2=2x, 4=4x, ...
;Resolution=1900,1200,59,22; commented so, at first, it starts with the desktop resolution (on release version)
;FullScreen=Yes
Synchronized=Yes
FullScreen=Yes
Resolution=1024,768,58,22

After:

[VIDEO]
AntialiasingLevel=0; 0=none, 1=non-maskable, 2=2x, 4=4x, ...
;Resolution=1900,1200,59,22; commented so, at first, it starts with the desktop resolution (on release version)
;FullScreen=Yes
Synchronized=Yes

When you start the game on the first time you go to graphic settings and set your settings. After that go out the game and delete this 2 line.
Never go back to the graphic settings again, because he will add this 2 line again and the problems back.

Working with Win7.
