Default How to find out whether it is 32 or 64 Windows XP?

Maybe the time warp this night already has made me dizzy, but - how could I find out whether my Windows XP is 32 or 64 Bit? I need to make a choice between the two, for installing a new software that differs between both OS.

Since its XP - right click on your "My Computer" icon - then left click on the "Properties" option at the bottom of the menu. This will bring up a data page that will tell you about your OS.

Since your running XP - you would know if you were using the 64 Bit version - very few people ever did use that. It was a bastard hybrid that had numerous issues. Still - better safe to check.

If it does not say - then your using the 32 bit version. That is where my money is on this one.

Right-click on "My Computer" and select "properties" at the botom. Should bring up the system properties page, where you should find the info.

* too late
